Glamis Castle, situated in the fertile Vale of Strathmore, twelve miles north of Dundee, has been the family home of the Earls of Strathmore since 1372.

The Castle has been lived in and visited by many members of the British Royal Families, Glamis is famed for being the setting of Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth', the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and the birthplace of Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret, the present Queen's sister.
