The Grampian Transport Museum is a living museum that probes the past, present and future. Many exhibits are climb aboard, hands on and even ride on!
Every season the museum refreshes around one third of its exhibits; this year’s exhibition includes an expanded chronology of the cycle to celebrate the bi-centenary of the invention of Baron Karl von Drais’ ‘Laufsmaschine’, later known as the ‘hobby horse’.
In addition there will be a fantastic‘Tribute to Triumph’ exhibition of motorcycles. We take a detailed look at the ‘Swinging Sixties’, a time of great innovation for motor cars and motorcycles and many other great displays including ‘Engineering in Miniature’ and‘Made in Scotland’.
